      DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANUAL A/C & TALLY A/C

In Manual a/c , different type of a/cs are maintained by the user like Journal, Ledger, Trial Balance , Trading & Profit & Loss A/c , Balance Sheet, etc. But In Tally a user maintains only three types of a/cs like:-

A.               Ledger Creation

B.                Voucher Creation

C.                Inventory Creation

The other a/cs are automatically maintained by the tally program.

   INTRODUCTION

Tally is a multi-Language (English, Bengali, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujrati,  Hindi,  etc.) financial accounting inventory management system. In other words, Tally is a software package by which we can get P/L A/c, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance automatically created.

ERP Stands for Enterprise Resource Planning.

   HISTORY

Tally software was developed by Bharat Goenka (S/O- Late. Shyam Sundar Goenka, Founder of Peutronics Pvt. Ltd) in 1986 at Bangalore.

OPENING TALLY PROGRAM

Long Route:-

1.                 Click on Start Button /Menu

2.                Go to All Programs

3.                Go to Tally

4.                 Click on Tally Erp9.0

            Short Route:-

    1.   Click on Start Menu      2. Type "TALLY" in search box              3.   Press Enter
